Interested in Volunteering?

We would be happy to have your assistance. Please tell us what you’d like to do and we’ll be in touch as soon as we can.

“Your time and talents are always appreciated.”

The Booster Club is comprised of the parents of our piano students, the Piano Faculty, and anyone interested in the progress and development of our Piano Program.

Our objects are simple; promote awareness of the Piano Department, foster additional educational skills, seek opportunities for our students to perform in the community, and recognize student and teacher achievements. Additionally, the Boosters provide volunteer services and financial support in an ongoing effort to help maintain a top quality Program.

In case you were wondering, there’s something for almost everyone to do and your time and talents are always appreciated. A few examples are our standing committees. Other committees and groups are formed as needed.

Publicity: This group promotes awareness of the SOA piano department at school, and in the community. Some of the activities include photographing piano events, writing articles for local newspapers and other publications, and advertising piano events to the surrounding community.

Arrangements: Think “party planners.” These folks handle the planning and preparations for Piano events including venues, decorations, tablecloths, flowers etc. Oh yeah, there’s the clean-up too.

Piano Concert Service: Community outreach has been a cornerstone of SOA’s philosophy. This group seeks out or creates opportunities for Piano students to perform at a variety of public venues for a fee.
